Ingredients :
Dry Coconut (Copra)- 1 cup (grated)
Red Chilli - 8
or
Red Chilli powder- 3 tbsp
Roasted gram dhal- 3 tsp
Salt- as required

METHOD :
Fry the copra, just till it is hot, in a dry pan. Fry the red chillies in little oil. Just before removing from fire, add the gram dhal and fry for minute . Remove, add salt and grind all the ingredients to a fine powder and preserve it in an air tight container.
This can be preserved anywhere between 10 to 15 days. It goes well with idly, dosa, chappatti and rice roti.
